Antiquaire wax embellishes, nourishes and protects antique and modern wooden furniture. It enhances the grain and reduces scratches and scuffs, and slightly enhances the tone of the surface to maintain the colour. Antiquaire wax preserves wood and gives it a beautiful patina:

  • Liquid: for rough surfaces and surfaces in relief
  • Paste: for previously waxed furniture and flat surfaces
  • Aerosol: for quick maintenance of an already waxed surface

How to use antique wax?

  • Use at room temperature on clean, dry wood.
  • Shake well before use.
  • Apply evenly in a thin layer, in the direction of the wood grain, using a brush, cloth or cotton wool.
  • Leave to dry for approx. 2 hours, then polish well with a cotton swab or soft cloth before applying a second coat.

Recommendations

  • If the wood is dirty, strip it with Starwax Wax Stripper.
