Starwax Stripper Degreaser for Parquet and Laminate is used occasionally to remove grease from the floor before applying Starwax Protective Floor Renovator. It degreases the floor, removes any old maintenance product that may be incompatible with the Protective Gloss Renovator and optimises renovation. It can also be used to remove any primers on new laminate floors or to remove old coats of Protective Renovator. 1 litre treats around 80m². Practical, it can be mopped and does not need rinsing.

How do I use No-Rinse Pre-Renovation Stripper for Parquet and Laminate Floors?

  • Dust the floor.
  • Dilute 1⁄2L of stripper in 5L of water.
  • Apply with a well wrung-out mop, without soaking the floor.
  • Leave to work for a few minutes.
  • Before drying, remove any residue with a slightly dampened squeegee or mop.
  • Leave to dry.
  • Repeat if necessary.

Recommendations

  • Do not apply to raw parquet or badly damaged sealed parquet (exposed wood or deep scratches): risk of darkening.
  • Do not apply to waxed parquet: use a diluted Wax Stripper before renovation before applying a Protective Renovator.
  • Never soak a parquet floor: wring out the mop well.
  • Do not reuse the same mop to apply the Renovator.
